Puppies Rescued by Ahana Deol Are Ready for Adoption!

Posted on by Anahita Grewal

Thank you, Ahana Deol! Two 5- to 6-month-old puppies are ready to begin the next chapter of their lives after the compassionate artist rescued them from a flyover.

Caught in the midst of oncoming traffic as she desperately tried to cross a busy flyover at Bandra Kurla Complex, in Mumbai, a puppy was in serious danger until artist Ahana Deol Vohra – daughter of Bollywood icon and PETA India pal Hema Malini – stopped her car and moved her out of harm’s way. PETA India’s Emergency Rescue Team rushed to the site and picked up the puppy along with another female puppy found on the same flyover, rescuing them from a dangerous environment where they could have been hit by moving vehicles. After the pair arrived at PETA India’s Mumbai office, they were examined immediately and sterilised. The puppies are now healthy, happy, and ready to be adopted.

If you have the time, patience, and resources to give one or both these puppies the care, attention, and affection they deserve, we want to hear from you! Please contact us at [email protected] or on 70459 22026. PETA India is willing to transport the puppies to a location within driving distance or a one-day train ride from Mumbai at our expense.

And please remember – there are countless cats and dogs who deserve happy, loving homes. Always adopt, don’t shop.
