Don’t Miss the Indian Premiere of ‘The End of Meat’

Posted on by PETA

What would a world without meat look like? Join us in Mumbai on Friday, 7 December, to find out. Gold Cinema Santacruz will be hosting the Indian premiere of The End of Meat, a provocative, informative, and inspiring new documentary by filmmaker Marc Pierschel.

Pierschel introduces viewers to Esther the Wonder Pig, the personable pig who has become a social media darling, and he also visits rescued farmed animals who are enjoying life the way they were meant to at sanctuaries where they are safe and loved. He talks to pioneers leading the research, development, and marketing of hugely popular vegan meat products in Europe as well as high-tech innovators who are creating the meat of the future – in test tubes. And he even pays a visit to the first fully vegetarian city right here in India.

The End of Meat explores the many reasons why a world without meat is, if not inevitable, at least preferable to the negative impact its consumption is having on animals, people, and the planet.

Following the screening, there’ll be a Q&A with Dr Nandita Shah from SHARAN (Sanctuary for Health and Reconnection to Animals and Nature), Varun Deshpande from the Good Food Institute, and other experts. Tickets are available online at EventsHigh.com or at the door, subject to availability. Doors open at 6:45 pm, and the film starts at 7:15 pm. Be sure to get there early to register and get a free gift bag.

Come help us celebrate the end of meat!
