Rescued by Kindness: Adopt These Kittens Helped by Bollywood Stars
When it comes to compassion, celebrities like Pooja Bhatt, Raveena Tandon, and Luke Kenny are using their voices—and hearts—for animals. PETA India is fostering three playful kittens thanks to the efforts of these caring stars, and now we’re looking for forever homes where these little ones will be safe, cherished, and loved.
A female kitten used to visit actor Pooja Bhatt’s building for food. Concerned about her safety after complaints from society members, Pooja Bhatt contacted PETA India, which stepped in and took her in.
Another kitten was rescued by a friend of actor Raveena Tandon. She saw the kitten alone wandering on the busy streets in Mumbai and ensured the animal was fed and cared for. When Raveena heard about this kitten’s plight, she immediately put her friend in touch with PETA India staff, and we secured the kitten.
Actor Luke Kenny was feeding a kitten whose mother was nowhere to be found. He reached out to PETA India, and we brought the kitten under our care.
All three kittens are female, one is 2 months old, another is 3 months old, and the eldest is only 3.5 months old. All have been dewormed and received their initial vaccinations. The youngest one is yet to be vaccinated. They are currently trying to befriend the staff at PETA India under our care and deserve the comfort and joy of a permanent home.
PETA India is happy to cover the cost of sterilisation and further vaccinations at the time of adoption. We can also help transport them within driving distance or a day’s train ride from Mumbai at our expense.
