Kids: We’re Going to the Krackerjack Karnival – Are You?

Posted on by PETA

Who’s ready for some family- and animal-friendly fun? The Krackerjack Karnival – India’s biggest festival dedicated to kids and families – has named PETA its Animal Rights Awareness Partner. That means we’ll be at the three upcoming events in Delhi and Gurugram to teach kids how to be friends – not foes – to animals.

Staying true to the carnival’s theme of “Shop. Play. Learn”, PETA will set up an information booth where kids can meet our “elephant” mascot, learn about the cruel treatment of animals in circuses, and sign our “Kind Kids” pledge. We’ll also have an interactive activity in which they can experience what it’s like to be a caged bird.

Parents, make sure to stop by our stall so your little ones can pick up free PETA stickers, wristbands, and balloons. We’ll also have plenty of literature about animal rights – and even a bookmark-making station where children can design and create their very own bookmarks with animal rights themes.

So mark your calendars now, because we’d hate for you to miss out on all the cruelty-free festivities!
