Our Instagram Live host Farhat Ul Ain is PETA India’s advocacy associate, a human rights proponent, and vegan. She joined Rubaina Ali Khan, Mohammad Shaquib, and Sana Shaikh in a conversation about animal rights in Islam. They offered tips for anyone interested in going vegan and shared how they celebrate a cruelty-free Eid. 

Rubaina Ali Khan, an entrepreneur who has two adopted dogs. She is the co-founder of Vego’s Plant Based Kitchen, a vegan food delivery restaurant.  

Mohammad Shaquib is a Jamia Millia Islamia alumnus and the founder of the Worldwide Project for Conservation of Environment. He regularly conducts talks about vegan eating and environmentalism in schools, universities, and villages across the country. 

Sana Shaikh is a mechanical engineer by education and works as a content creator, an entrepreneur, and an animal rights and LGBTQ activist. She also makes zero waste life changes.
