Intern or Volunteer With PETA India

If you want to help animals and earn a swanky certificate of appreciation for your efforts, apply for a PETA India internship. You can volunteer with us to help make calls to media outlets, compile or update data, do online research, and conduct outreach activities, including demonstrations and tabling events. You can also help in other ways at our Mumbai and Delhi offices, which are open from 9:30 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday.

We need caring, dedicated, and conscientious people, and we promise to keep you hopping – and having fun!

Interns are considered a key part of the PETA India team and, as such, must be reliable, flexible (i.e. able to switch from one project to another as necessary), and able to commit to the internship for at least one month. We depend a great deal on our interns and appreciate their patience and hard work. In return, they’re given the opportunity to expand their knowledge, experience the inner workings of a grassroots movement, and gain the satisfaction of working to alleviate animal suffering.

If you want to apply for an internship, send your résumé to [email protected] along with a paragraph or two outlining your qualifications for the role, as well as letting us know when you’d like to be an intern. Please note that interns will need to make their own arrangements for accommodations.

If you can’t commit to an internship but still want to help, you can volunteer with us. Just let us know the hours and days you’d be available.

And of course, we’re always looking for people to help in other ways – join our Activist Network to be notified of local events. You can also stay up to date with us by subscribing to PETA India’s e-news.
