Winners Chosen for Their Contribution to Ethical Fashion During World Vegan Month

Mumbai – During World Vegan Month (November), People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India – with help from the judges, actor Jacqueline Fernandez, Fashion Design Council of India President Sunil Sethi and National Institute of Fashion Technology Director General PK Gera – is recognising the best cruelty-free contributions to the fashion world in this year’s PETA-Approved Vegan Fashion Awards. As shoppers are more concerned than ever about the origins of the products they buy, the use of pleather, faux silk, fake snake and other cruelty-free fabrics is on the rise – and everyone from high-street retailers such as Mango and PUMA to design stars such as Sabyasachi Mukherjee are meeting shoppers’ demand for animal-free fashion. The winners are listed below.
