You’ve Been PETA-Pranked

April fools!

Although PETA is not really launching a masculinity-tracking device called the Manometer, we are encouraging all dudes not to harm animals for any reason. It takes a real man to stand tall against abuse.

Real men also have integrity and care about their health, which is why they don’t eat animals.

John Abraham

Did you know that according to one study, as many as half of men over the age of 40 are impotent at least part of the time? According to the Erectile Dysfunction Institute in the US, up to 90 per cent of all cases of impotence are physical as opposed to psychological. That’s right: high cholesterol, obesity, diabetes, prostate cancer or inflammation, and hormonal imbalances cause the vast majority of all cases of impotence. The good news is that medical science suggests that all these conditions can be managed or in some cases even prevented by low-fat vegan eating.

A diet heavy in meat and dairy foods has also been linked to heart disease, prostate cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure and obesity.

The manliest men also see the big picture and consider how their actions affect the environment that we all share. Raising animals for food is extremely wasteful and causes as much as a shocking 51 per cent of global greenhouse-gas emissions. Meat production is also responsible for more water pollution than all other industrial sources combined  and wastes our limited water resources. It takes up to 20,940 litres of water to produce just 1 kilogram of meat , yet there are nearly 900 million people in the world living without access to clean water .

Real men have compassion for all living beings. The next time you’re deciding on lunch or ordering at a restaurant, be a macho, protective man – and choose not to harm others.
