Posted on by PETA

If staring at yourself during video chats this past year has sparked an interest in upping your beauty game, PETA India’s Instagram Live event is here to help. Our science policy advisor, Dr Ankita Pandey, talks with Donna, communication and digital marketing executive of the PETA-approved, cruelty-free brand Iba Cosmetics about the way everyone can enjoy cosmetics without hurting animals.

India became the first country in Asia to ban the testing of cosmetics and their ingredients on animals and the importation of animal-tested cosmetics. Last year, the government released new rules that strengthened the import ban, and various domestic companies produce wonderful animal-friendly products, including Iba Cosmetics’ luxurious, all-natural cosmetics, perfumes, and skin- and hair-care products.

Iba is so committed to promoting animal-friendly personal care that during the live session, they asked a question, and the two best answers were chosen to win an Iba Makeup Gift Set, which was announced directly afterwards on the company’s Instagram site.

Iba is also giving away two Iba Makeup Gift Sets, which include an Iba Photo Perfect HD Face Primer, Pure Skin Liquid Foundation, Iba Pure Skin Perfect Look Long-Wear Mattifying Compact, Iba All Day Kohl Kajal, Iba Pure Lips Moisture Rich Lipstick, and an Iba Pure Lips Long Stay Matte Lipstick. If you can’t join us on Instagram Live but would like to participate in the contest, you can sign up below. Entries for the contest start on 18 August and end on 28 August at 4 pm IST. PETA India will randomly select two winners and announce the results on 30 August on our website.

This Contest is closed. Winners will be announced soon.

True beauty comes from inside ourselves, and every time you purchase vegan products, you help protect animals from painful, lethal experiments.
