Celebrity Stylist Eshaa Amiin Stars In PETA’S First Vegan Fashion Video Of 2018

Posted on by PETA

PETA is kicking off 2018 on a stylish note with a brand-new vegan fashion video featuring celebrity stylist Eshaa Amiin, who showcases on-trend outfits and accessories – without fur, leather, wool, or exotic skins. The unique looks are modelled by actors Meghana Kaushik and Kashyap Shangari, and the video is directed by Gaurav C Bhat.

Amiin – who has styled Bollywood queens including Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Sridevi, Lara Dutta, and Pooja Hegde, to name just a few – took part in the collaborative video project to show Indian consumers how stylish animal-friendly fashion can be. The looks encompass both Western and Indian styles, including workout wear, office wear, and date-night outfits. Vegan fashions from numerous top brands and designers are highlighted, including Adidas, Merci, Gauri and Nainika, Creyate, Charles & Keith, Redesyn, and The Alternate.

Vegan clothing, shoes, and accessories are widely available in shops all over India. More and more stylists, designers, and retailers are embracing vegan fashion, and for good reason. As revealed by PETA – whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to wear” – cows killed for leather, snakes killed for their skin, and animals killed for their fur are often mutilated and even skinned alive, and impatient wool-industry workers have been caught throwing, beating, and stamping on sheep.

Kaushik’s and Shangari’s hair was styled by Laila Dalal, their make-up was done by Ayesha Wadiwala, and Dhruvi Kapadia was the styling assistant.

Feeling inspired? Choose compassion, take the pledge today and promise that, from this day forward, the only skin you are in is your own.
