\nImagine being stranded in a desert, abducted by aliens, and subjected to terrifying experiments. PETA Youth\u2019s newly launched \u2018Abduction Virtual Reality Experience\u2019 recreated this gripping scenario to mirror the horrors animals face in laboratories. A unique virtual reality experience and a realistic journey, where one puts on a headset and seemingly finds themselves stranded in the desert with friends, abducted by aliens, taken aboard a spaceship, and subjected to laboratory horrors: \u2018You watch as your friends endure experiments inspired by real tests conducted on animals,\u00a0knowing that you\u2019ll be next.\u2019 Showcased at events like Comic Cons in Mumbai<\/a>, Hyderabad,<\/a> and Delhi<\/a>, prominent vegan festivals like the Vegan India Conference<\/a> and Ekatva Festival<\/a>, and renowned music festival \u2013 Sunburn Goa<\/a>, this campaign was also taken to esteemed college fests \u00a0such as \u2018Goonj\u2019 by Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology (GBPIET) Uttarakhand<\/a>, \u2018Rage Against the Cage\u2019 by North Cap University Gurugram<\/a>, and \u2018Waves 24\u2019 by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Goa<\/a> and served a visceral wake-up call to participants.<\/p>\n\n
