Dog Rescued by PETA India Is Looking for a Permanent Loving Home

Posted on by Shreya Manocha

Meet our newest rescued animal, a boxer!

He was kept in constant confinement, tied with a short leash 24/7 at a house that was under construction. Forced to inhale dust and other construction materials that are especially hazardous for breeds like boxers, who are bred with respiratory concerns, he was fed just one meal a day and never taken out for walks.

He was living alone with no one to interact with and could be heard crying and barking for hours at a time, despite being a friendly and affectionate dog. When PETA India learned about his condition, our Cruelty Response Team rushed to his rescue. He is sterilised and vaccinated.

If you have the time, patience, and resources to give him the care, attention, and affection he deserves, we want to hear from you! Please contact us at [email protected] or on 7045922026. PETA India is willing to transport to a location within driving distance or a one-day train ride from Delhi at our expense.

And please remember, there are countless cats and dogs on the streets or at nearby shelters who deserve happy, loving homes. Always adopt – don’t shop.

I Pledge to Always Adopt, Never Shop!
