Here at petaDishoom, we're all about showing you that going vegan is easy, so we're compiling a huge list of vegan grub that you can easily find in your local grocery store. You'll be surprised at just how many of the things that you pass right over during your quest for vegan treats really are vegan.

Note: Sometimes companies change a product's ingredients. If you ever spot a non-vegan product on this list, let us know immediately by e-mailing us at dishoom@petaindia.org. As a precaution, check ingredients while you shop. For a list of animal-derived ingredients, click here.

Note: The listed items may contain trace amounts of animal-derived ingredients. Although PETA India supports a strict adherence to a vegan diet, we put the task of vigorously reducing animal suffering ahead of personal purity. Boycotting products that are 99.9 per cent vegan sends manufacturers the message that there is no market for that particular food, and this ends up hurting more animals. Click here for a detailed explanation of PETA US' position, which we agree with.
