A PETA India undercover investigation reveals filth, disease and cruelty in India's fishing industry.
Watch the video that exposes the cruelty and suffering that go into every piece of leather, fur, wool, and exotic skin that you wear, then ask yourself and everyone you know, "Whose skin are you in?"
Anyone who has ever seen Parikrama perform at a college fest, knows that they’re one bad-ass band (seriously, you haven’t lived until you’ve heard “Vapourize” live). But what really makes them super bad-ass in our book is how super good they are to animals. Longtime PETA Youth pals and passionate animal advocates, the guys from Parikrama never shy away from telling it like it is. See for yourself!
Always taking time to rock PETA Youth tees during shows and talk us up at every college fest they play, Nitin Malik once told us, “I am a part of PETA now. I believe that animals should be treated in a humane way. You could have cabbage instead of a goat’s head …" Nicely put Nitin!
After all, there is nothing humane about today’s meat, egg, and dairy industries: Chickens and turkeys have their throats cut while they're still conscious, piglets have their tails and testicles cut off without painkillers, fish are suffocated or cut open while they're still alive, and mother cows have their calves taken away from them right after their birth so that the milk meant for them can be sold to consumers. Plus, ditching meat improves your health, skin, physique and helps the environment. So what are you waiting for? Be a “Superhero” for animals today by pledging to go veg!
