It is that time of year again, where you learn just how vegetarianism has officially taken root in Bollywood and in Hollywood. It is no easy task to narrow the list of vegetarian delights to just one vegetarian heer or ranjha—after all, what is sexier than someone who exudes both passion and compassion? So we are asking you to decide in PETA’s third annual “Who Is the Hottest Vegetarian Alive?” poll.

Bollywood hotties Shahid Kapur and Amrita Rao, “Lettuce Lady” Aditi Govitrikar, actor Pamela Anderson, veteran actors Dev Anand and Mandira Bedi and newcomer Simpoo, Channel [V] mascot, are among the more than 70 sizzling celebs vying for this year’s titles. They cite many reasons for forgoing flesh foods, from avoiding the cruelty to animals inherent in meat production to improving their health and helping the environment.
