Talk in Delhi on Sunday: Vegan Eating and World Peace

Posted on by PETA

The India Habitat Centre in New Delhi is hosting a talk by American financier and vegan activist Anil Narang on Sunday titled “The Imperative for Vegetarianism and Veganism for Moral Progress, Democracy and World Peace”.

Anil’s presentation will be on the fascinating and often unrecognised links between vegetarian eating and people’s attitudes towards compassion, kindness and peace. The talk will highlight that moral progress and animal liberty are interconnected and that if we want to achieve true world peace, we must extend our circle of compassion to include all the species with whom we share the planet.

The talk will be chaired by Prakash Narain, former chair of the Indian Railway Board, and current member of the Policy Commission of the International Humanist and Ethical Union.

Join him on 8 November at 7 pm. RSVP to [email protected].
