I’m Dreaming of a Vegan Christmas!

Posted on by PETA

Christmas is weeks away, but my mouth is already watering in anticipation of a festive vegan feast, complete with scrumptious soy-based meats from Fry’s Vegetarian, mashed potatoes made with olive oil and Staeta soya milk, and maybe even some vegan goodies from The Green Stove or decadent dairy-free chocolates (check the labels!) from Maya Chocolates, whose orange-flavoured chocolate is to die for, or from Cadbury Bournville.

First thing’s first though: I’ve got to get my holiday shopping done! My sister wants a new jacket. Fortunately for me, Westside, Benetton, and Shopper’s Stop all offer stylish synthetic jackets at affordable prices.

My mom would look sharp toting a new leather-free bag around, so I’m going to browse the selection at Baggit, Espelho, Fab India. Although I must say that these beautiful leather-free bags from Mother Earth should be on every woman’s must-have list!

If anyone else is looking for fabulous leather-free bags, belts, shoes, and other accessories, Santa’s little helper (that’s me!) also suggests the following stores or designer labels:
Pantaloons
Accessorize
Catwalk
Rinaldi
Hemant and Nandita

Oh, and I know it’s better to give than receive, but if my friends and relatives happen to be reading this, my Christmas wish list includes new cosmetics and toiletries from some of my favourite cruelty-free companies.

My ideal gift bag would include yummy lip balms from Nature’s Co, rejuvenating aroma oil from Rasa, soaps from Lush which come in a variety of flavors, and lipsticks from Onyx
There are also those heavenly incense sticks from Omved which smell gorgeous, make a nice gift and also add a spiritual touch to gift giving.

Happy holiday, everyone! I hope you all have a Christmas filled with peace and goodwill for all.
