5 Easy New Year’s Resolutions for Animals

Posted on by PETA

When it comes to habits, it’s time to say, “Out with the old and in with the new”. Whether you’ve been considering going vegan or want to get active for animals in other ways, the new year is the perfect time to adopt a resolution that will benefit all living beings. And the best part is, we’re here to help! Here are five of the easiest things you can do to make a difference in the year ahead.

1. Watch and share. One of the best ways to help animals is to share PETA’s “Glass Walls” video widely and urge friends and family to consider eating a plant-based diet instead of animal-derived foods.

2. Help animals in distress. Always stop for an animal who needs medical care – and follow our simple guide to help.

3. Never be silent. Witnessing cruelty to animals is an upsetting experience, but knowing how to handle the situation properly can save lives and prevent abusers from harming other victims. Here’s what to do if you see someone mistreat an animal.

4. Become a PETA member. Let’s work together to make the world a better place for all living beings.

5. Take action for animals online. Send messages to decision makers via PETA’s action alerts.
