I Love Dogs. I love street dogs only. dog is my life.

i live in naval area......dere hav been many incidents....once i saved a baby mynah in andamans that had fallen frm a height and had broken wing....saved a baby kitten in kochi that other kids were harassing....it is still wid us ....saved a motherless puppy....tuk care of it for a few days......bt some1 stole him..i'm sure they all must b enjoin their life....as i am saving animals....n i keep lukin 4ward 2wards saving many others n even owning a pet..

I still remember, Kimmy- My uncle's house owner's white pom! During my childhood, I use to travel to thiruvanamalai for summer vacations to stay at my uncle's place- especially to meet "Kimmy". I had spent most of the time talking to kimmy playing with it and the most funnies thing is that I have demanded Kimmy & his owner/family members asking "when will I get your kid to take back to chennai" without even understanding that It was a MALE pup!! :D The owner used to feel sorry & irritated to explain me the fact!.. He use to Kimmy is male & he doesn't have wife rather he will not give birth and I have encountered him asking you are also male and you have two grown-up kids!! hahahaha.. :) I had many times visited that place hoping for Kimmy to give birth each summer or quarterly exam holidays and check out Kimmy first and my relatives next!.. At some point of time, I had given up the thought as such I was literally got screwed from my grandpa who was totally against feeding or befriended with dogs on roads. But I did develop a crush on a Indian dog who was named by me as tiger (I think I was in 3rd std or so). Tiger use to be a sweet heart, dark black and at times i have renamed as blacky too.. :) I have taken help of my cousin brother to feed tiger as we both had jointly found him crying near the coconut tree & bushes in front of our grandma's house. we had to manage the situation as we know grandpa would yell at us and the fear for his walking stick (he was a retr. Police officer). If am not wrong we managed to save tiger/blacky for 3-4 days max and shared food, milk and biscuits by saving some 25/50 paise from our pocket money to buy wheel chips daily! :) It went on okie until I was badly caught for sharing my 1st Birth day's coat with Tiger to cover the tent which we had built for tiger to stay in store room (my dad had bought that coat from Kashmir before even I was born) and it was found near grandpa's den.. after all this stupid tiger had dragged it out of store room n started playing with the coat and left it there. Back from school, everyone was ready at home to take me & cousin for a ride. It happened finally, grandpa's special treat for both of us and made our butts red hot!! :) I am not sure what had happened to tiger after that, I just remember I saw tiger was taken out from home to road in search of his mom or dad. Trusting my dad's word - "He is safe with his mom now!!!" Then I stopped my cry which continued for a day long. I am not sure where Tiger is or he may not be alive too.. But, I have that coat with which he played and I always cherish those couple of days spent with my first luv- tiger. Pointing at the coat, I have told about tiger to my current pet Parama! He will tilt his head, wag his tail... but I can understand that he may not understand though!! :D

one day its in winter when i and my dad were walking early morning we saw a dog which was walking horribly because of the hurt which it got on its leg. i told my dad about the dog and we both went near it, but it frightened to come near us, my dad caught it and we took that dog to near by hospital.. we found that someone through a stone on its leg and it got fractured . i asked my dad that i want to keep it as my pet, dad hesitated to be but i urged and at last he agreed . i kept the dogs name as rinku , always we use to go to walk along , me my sisiter and dad likes that RINKU a lot but mum was fear of dogs, last month it got some problem and it left us and went to god. i love my RINKU a lot .

It was not a heart warming story, but a heart breaking story... because, she, Julia, a female pup was not here in this cruel world now. I was 18 years old when she died. She was a homeless dog in tirunelveli. Tirunelveli is my native place. I found her sick in garbage, in the year 2004, when I was in tirunelveli for my summer vacation. My dad helped me take her to proper treatment. I asked my aunts' friend who lives there, to adopt Julia. She was adopted and lived happily. But I dont had any knowledge about ABC by that time. So Julia was abandoned for that she was mating with stray male dogs and giving birth frequently. By the next vacation I found 4 puppies with her roaming around streets. Again an adoption hunt. I handed over Julia and her pups to my aunt herself and I came back. But this time we had her spayed and I managed to settle down the pups to some kind people in the village. And Finally by the last vacation of 2010 March-April She died. And she spent her very last moments with me. A quite natural departure, laying down on my laps. She came with me wherever I went, although she was tired to die. Still miss Julia... Love you Julia! I miss you so much!
